Biography – Real Estate, Business, and Civil Litigation

After six years of practicing civil litigation in Virginia, Russell joined Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C. in 2016.  Russell has practiced with firms of all sizes which has provided him a balanced approach to most efficiently achieving the objectives of his clients.  Russell’s education, experience, skills, and approach make him an effective litigator in all phases of a case.  Russell provides counseling and representation in many types of civil litigation matters, but especially enjoys real estate and business litigation.  Having an entrepreneurial spirit himself, Russell understands the many challenges that business owners face when starting, growing, and even selling or winding up a business when the time is right.

Originally from the St. Louis area, Russell moved to Virginia after graduating summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2006 with a Bachelor in Arts (B.A.) in psychology.  Russell graduated from law school at the Washington and Lee University School of law in Lexington, Virginia in 2009.  Since that time Russell has actively practiced law in Central and Northern Virginia, with a focus on civil litigation.  Russell is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Maryland, California, and the District of Columbia.  Russell is also admitted to practice before all the state courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as the United States Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Virginia.
