Charlottesville transplant, Leila Higgins-Fleishman joined the firm in 2017. Ms. Higgins-Fleishman was born and raised in another mountain college town: Flagstaff, AZ. Prior to coming to Charlottesville, Ms. Higgins-Fleishman attended American University in Washington, DC, and has spent time living and working in India and Taiwan. She spent the first four years of her practice assisting low-income immigrants, and has worked for two federal immigration agencies. Ms. Higgins-Fleishman combines patience and tenacity to guide her clients through sometimes arduous and confusing proceedings.
Ms. Higgins-Fleishman represents clients in traffic, misdemeanor, and civil litigation. Having a four-footed child of her own, Ms. Higgins-Fleishman is a zealous advocate for clients with dog-related cases.
